Breakfast is a must essential to rejuvenate our body for our daily routine and we never skip breakfast on our daily menu. My kids love to eat mostly all types of tiffins and sometimes they get bored to eat idly or dosa and at that moment I like to try some other variations and yesterday made this bread upma and they liked it so much.

 

Ingredients:

Bread slices       : 4

tomato            : 1 finely chopped

onion            : 1 finely chopped

green chillies : 3 to 4

cashews   : 10

oil           : 2 tbsp

mustard seeds  : 1/4  tsp

salt  : as per needed

red chilli powder : 1/4 tsp

METHOD:

1. Take bread slices and cut the edges of the bread slices and slightly roast the slices until light brown in colour.

2. Now heat oil in a pan and add cashews and keep them aside.

3. In the same pan add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add chopped onions and tomatoes and saute well,add green chillies when onions turn into brown in colour and stir well.

4.Add salt ,turmeric powder,red chilli powder and saute well.

5.Finally add bread slices saute well and serve into wide  bowl .
