Festival means with full of sweets and saouries and we south indians mostly makes ladoos for any type of occassions and festivals .Among all those vinayaka chaithi is a famous festival in INDIA. We made carrot laddoo for this festival yesterday and laddoos are favourite sweets to lord vinayaka. Carrot rava ladoo is a combination of grated carrots ,coconut and some rava[semolina} you can add chopped dry fruits like cashews and raisins also for this laddoo but i didnot added in my recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

Grated carrots        :  1 cup

semolina/rava         : 1/2 cup

dessicated coconut     : 1/2 cup

sugar                        : 2 cups

ghee                : 2 to 3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in a pan add grated carrot and fry until raw smell disappear.
  2. Add rava and fry until light brown in color or raw smell disappear.In the same pan add coconut and roast lightly.
  3. Now take a wide bowl add grated carrots,rava,coconut and add powdered sugar and mix well.
  4. Add some milk {nearly 1/2 cup of milk}  if required to make round balls .

5.Garnish with chopped cashews and raisins

notes: I didnot added cashews and rasins you can add if desired.
