Chicken tikka is my family’s favourite starter and I makes atleast once for every fifteen days but never posted in my blog ,once my daughter asked me -you makes this starter number of times at home but why you didnt posted in your blog this reminded me to post atleast this time so made this sunday as a starter ,we whole family never skips sunday non-veg dishes and we assume its incomplete without having non veg dishes so always makes mutton or chicken dishes mostly on sundays. Making this tikka is quite simple and easy too.
Boneless chicken : 500 gms
lemon juice : 2 tbsp
salt :1/4 tsp
red chilli powder : 1/2 tsp
oil : 1 tbsp
Yogurt : 3/4 cup
cream : 2 tbsp
ginger garlic paste : 2 tsp
red chilli powder : 1/4 tsp
salt : 1 tsp
corn flour : 2 tbsp
oil : 2 tbsp
1.Cut chicken into small pieces nearly 2 inches.Wash chicken pieces and pat dry them on a plate or tray.
2.Prick with a fork and marinate the chicken pieces with first marination. Keep aside for thirty minutes.
3.After 30 minutes add the ingredients which are listed for second marination and keep aside for 2 hours and discard all liquid.
4.Grease th baking tray with oil using pastry brush and place the chicken pieces on tray.
5.Place the tray on oven set the temp at 180c and grill for 20 minutes at grill option .
6.After 20 minutes turn the chicken pieces and grill for 5 minutes again.
