Paneer is a rich protein source food and I always love to cook panner at least once in a week, kids love to have all types and among all, they love to have paneer jalfrezi which is a dry curry and pairs best with rotis,even as stuffing forkathi rolls and this curry is mainly made with all bell peppers.
Paneer cubes : 250 gms
bell peppers : 1 cup
Tomato puree : 1 cup
ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
tomatoes : 1 cup finely chopped
onions : 1 cup diced
garam masala : 1 1/4 tsp
red chilli powder : 1 tbsp
kasuri methi : 1/4 tsp
turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
oil : 2 tbsp
salt : as per needed
1.Soak paneer in hot water for a while and keep aside for few minutes. Chop the veggies and keep aside.
2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds ,chopped onions and stir well . Add ginger garlic paste and stir well so that raw smell disappears.
3.Add tomato puree and stir well for few minutes and add spice powders and salt .
4.Add bell peppers and stir until they gets half cooked.
5. Add kasuri methi and paneer pieces and stir well make sure not to stir too much.
6. Do not cook so much switch off the flame and garnish with chopped coriander.
