Christmas is nearby thought to make some cookies which are coming in my future posts, stained glass cookies are made during this holiday to decorate Christmas tree and these are eggless. My kids love cookies and these are made of crushed candies and they really enjoy this Christmas season while I mostly bake lots of cakes and cookies during this season.

Flour        : 2 cups

Sugar        : 3/4 cup

Butter      : 1/2 cup

Baking powder : 1/2 tsp

Vanilla essence : 1/2 tsp

Candies : 1 packet  {I used poppins}

  1. In a bowl add butter and sugar and beat well using hand beater/mixer until soft and creamy.
  2.  Add vanilla essence and milk and beat again with a hand blender.
  3. In a separate bowl add flour and baking powder and add butter mixture to flour and whisk until it comes to smooth consistency.
  4. Make a smooth dough and keep this dough in the fridge for at least thirty minutes. Meanwhile, take the candies and crush into fine pieces and make into powder.
  5. Now take the dough from fridge and roll into 1/4 thickness and cut into desired shapes and make a hole at centre and add crushed candy in the centre and place the cookies on a cookie tray.
  6. Pre-heat oven at 150c and place the cookie tray and bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Let the cookies cool down for few minutes and take away from oven and store in an airtight jar.
